Winchester .32-40 Bullard Board Dummy Cartridge

Description: Nice example of the .32-40 Bullard "board dummy” cartridge manufactured by Winchester. These were used in the Bullard small frame repeater. These first appeared in the 1886 Winchester catalog and were gone by 1915. This example has a flat nose lead bullet, a necked brass case, and a brass primer. It still has plenty of the original lacquer finish. There are two holes on the board side and a wooden spacer rod on the inside of the case. A nice example of the .32-40 Bullard cartridge!
