20Ga. Colt Revolving Shotgun Cartridge

Description: Very rare two-piece cartridge for the 20Ga. or .60 Colt Revolving Shotgun. The top portion contains the shot wrapped in dark blue paper. The bottom portion containing the powder is wrapped in treated buff white paper. This example is right out of a packet and was manufactured by Colt’s Cartridge Works of Hartford, Connecticut. This is about as minty as they come! I’ve included photos of the top and bottom of each section as well. An excellent Civil War Era cartridge for the rare Colt Revolving Shotgun!
