Z7687 Empty .50 Remington Navy Centerfire Cartridge Box by W.R.A.Co.
Description: Decent original ammunition packet that once contained twenty-five cartridges for the .50 Navy Remington Model 1867 Rolling Block Pistol. The M1867 Navy pistol was a M1865 Navy pistol converted from rimfire to centerfire.
This empty packet is in decent shape. It retains most of the original label. There is one small piece missing from a corner of the lid. The box itself is a two-piece box made of pasteboard and wrapped in paper. Most seams are split. The packet retains the original shape and is wrapped in plastic. The original Winchester Repeating Arms Company (W.R.A.Co.) guarantee label is on the back and there are a few spots marked in pencil. The surface has light soiling throughout. This ammo packet would make a great display piece sitting next to your M1867 Remington Navy Pistol converted to central fire. The top label reads:
25
SOLID HEAD
CARTRIDGES,
CENTRAL FIRE RELOADING
50 PISTOL (cartridge graphic)
