Z7854 Scarce .303/.310 Eley Rimfire Cartridge

Description: Nice example of the .303 Eley dishbase rimfire cartridge manufactured by Eley of London. This cartridge is also known as the .310 Eley rimfire cartridge. These were used in an auxiliary chamber along with the .303 Lee-Metford or Lee-Enfield service rifle and provided an affordable way to target practice. This example has a conical bullet with a rounded nose and a drawn copper case with a dishbase. A hard-to-find British rimfire cartridge.
