Z7990 National Rifle Association 1905 Members Match Organizational Medal

Description: Very nice N.R.A. Members Match Affiliated Organization Medal from the 1905 match in Sea Girt, New Jersey. This example is made of bronze with a gold-plated center. It’s housed in the original leatherette case lined in silk with gold print on the inside of the lid. The top portion reads, "PRESENTED BY THE / NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION / OF AMERICA / TO / Co. A, Sixth Regt. Inf., M.V.M. / FOR COMPETITION AMONG ITS / MEMBERS ……..1905.” The stick pin on the back of the medal is slightly bent. The members’ match of 1905 would bring in 600 individuals and 37 teams competing against one another. A very nice example, still housed in the original case!
