Z8046 Confederate .58 Gardner "Blow Through” Bullet
Description: Nice example of what is known as a Gardner "Blow Through” bullet. The .58 Gardner was one of several bullets that had consistent casting flaws. Once fired, the pressure would stretch the lead anywhere there was a void or weak spot. This example still retains the shape of the barrel while the nose has been folded back on one side. A very nice example!
Measures: D .591” OAL 1.325”
