Z8121 12 Ga. Meriden Fire Arms Company "Pointer” Shotshells (Qty.6)

Description: Lot of six 12 Ga. "POINTER” shotshells manufactured by the Meriden Fire Arms Company of Meriden, Connecticut. All six shotshells have the same factory load. They have 3 drams of smokeless powder, 1 1/8 Oz. of shot, and No. 6 pellets. All six shotshells have a uniform red color. This group would be perfect if you are trying to fill a box up with original loads. I have added a photo of a similar box that is not for sale. It’s just used for comparison. These shotshells are loaded with British Triumph powder which would date them from 1906-1909.

Headstamp: "POINTER / 12 12 / MFA CO”

Wad: "TRIUMPH / 3 / 1 1/8-4 / M.F.A.CO.”
