Z8237 Mississippi Infantry Coat Button
Description: Decent example of a Confederate Mississippi Infantry coat button. This example has a five-pointed star with an "Iā€ in the middle surrounded by "MISSISSIPPI.ā€ These were manufactured by Scovill for Hyde & Goodrich. This example has wear to the face but is legible. There are a few small pinholes on one side of the button near the edge. The shank is slightly bent. A decent example for the price!
Backmark: "HYDE & GOODRICH. / N-O.ā€ rmdc
Measures: 20.23 mm
