Z8199 Westley Richards "Mushroom” Percussion Primer
Description: Nice example of Westley Richards percussion primer patented on February 11, 1831. This example has a drilled brass tube that is solid on one end. There is a tinned steel cross that is riveted on the solid end and the flanges are bent downward. The open end of the tube is coated with a waterproofing agent. A very nice example!
