Z8334 .54 Merrill Carbine & Rifle Bullet Mold

Description: Nice example of the .54 Merrill carbine and rifle bullet mold. This example is made of brass with an iron sprue plate that still has little bluing. This mold has a double cavity with two projectiles with three grooves or cannelures. The sprue plate still functions with ease. This example appears to have seen the elephant. There are several marks on the side and bottom showing that this mold was actually put to use. A nice example with a rich patina!
