Z8454 Early English Percussion Primer
Description: Early English percussion primer. Gooding states that this may be a side-primer tube. This example has a small copper tube soldered onto a wedge-shaped piece of copper. Not much is known about this type, but I would assume the wedge would slide into a rest on the side of the lock holding the primer in place. A scarce variant that isn’t often seen.
Measures: OAL .805”
