Z8412 .44 Henry Rimfire Cartridge with L&K Headstamp
Description: Scarce .44 Henry rimfire cartridge with the raised headstamp of "L&K.” These cartridges were manufactured by U.M.C. expressly for Liddle & Kaeding of San Francisco, California. This style of cartridge is known as the flat top, short case rimfire cartridge. It has a flat nose bullet with two cannelures and a copper casing. The headstamp is a raised "L&K” on a depressed head. A scarce variant used in the Henry, M1866 Winchester, and a few different revolvers. A nice example with a few spots on the case. The headstamp is highlighted.
