Z8509 Early 3-Way Powder Flask for Flintlocks
Description: Very nice example of an early 3-way powder flask for use with flintlock pistols and muskets. These are often found in cased sets. These have three different chambers. Half of the top is for powder and contains charging nozzle with a fully functional spring and stopper. The other half slides open to contain your lead balls. The bottom container unscrews and was meant to contain extra flints. This example is unmarked and is very well made. The body is a tapered sheet of copper, and both the top and bottom are made of brass. This example has a great patina with a couple of small dings on the body. The brass still retains a touch of the original lacquer here and there. A nice piece that could be used in any cased set.
Measures: H 5” x W 2”
Price: $795.00
