Z8534 Spencer Rifle & Carbine Blank Cartridge

Description: Nice example of a "blank” cartridge used in Spencer carbines and rifles. These were manufactured in 1870 at the Frankford Arsenal and were designated as .50 CAL. However, these could be used in the .56-56, .56-52, .56-50, and .56-45 Spencer firearms. These were primarily used for drill and training exercises.
