Z8599 Hazard Powder Company Kentucky Rifle Gunpowder Tin

Description: Decent example of a 1lb. Kentucky Rifle gunpowder tin manufactured for use with the Hazard Powder Company of Hazardville, Connecticut. This example still retains quite a bit of the original red finish. It has darkened with age and has sporadic chips. The label is about 95% intact with heavy soiling. The pewter cap easily unscrews. A nice example for the price!
