Z9043 10.15x61R Norwegian Jarmann Ammunition Packet

Description: Here is a nice original packet of 10.15x61R Jarmann cartridges manufactured at the Hovedarsenalets Laboratorium in Norway in 1894. These cartridges were intended for use in the Norwegian Jarmann rifle, a bolt-action design with an 8-round tubular magazine, invented by Jacob Smith Jarmann. Although innovative for its time, the Jarmann rifle quickly became obsolete and was soon replaced by the Krag–Jørgensen.

The label reads:

10 Stk. 10,15mm fkp.

This packet is in excellent condition and still retains the original tie string. There is some light soiling on the paper wrap and a few small edge holes consistent with typical handling wear. The projectiles are magnetic, indicating a steel-jacketed bullet—a characteristic of later Jarmann loads.
