Z9041 5mm Charola y Anitua Automatic Pistol Ammunition
Description: Original stripper clip and ammunition for the Spanish 5mm Charola y Anitua pistol. This set includes the correct six-round charger and six original cartridges manufactured by Keller & Co. of Hirtenberg, Austria. Two of the cartridges show minor cracks at the casemouth—a common occurrence with this fragile cartridge type.
The Charola y Anitua was one of the earliest successful Spanish semi-automatic pistols, introduced in the late 1890s. Chambered for the unique 5mm Charola cartridge, the pistol featured a fixed magazine loaded via stripper clip—a rare configuration for early autos. Though production was limited, its innovative design and sleek form made it notable among collectors of early European autoloaders.
These cartridges were also used in the 5mm Clement automatic pistols. A scarce and desirable original set—ideal for display alongside a Charola y Anitua or Clement, and a great complement to any early auto pistol collection.
