Description: A complete and well-preserved packet of 10.4x38R (.41 Swiss) rimfire ammunition, as used in the Vetterli rifles of the Swiss Confederation. This tightly wrapped bundle contains ten 10.4mm Swiss rimfire cartridges. The original label remains intact and clearly displays the manufacture date: April 20, 1892. The red crossbar is lightly marked "PC 89,” indicating the use of PC 89 powder—a semi-smokeless propellant introduced around 1889–1890.
There are a few small holes along the corners of the wrapping paper where the rims of the cartridges have worn through over time. While the paper wrapper and label are lightly soiled, they remain fully legible.
Headstamp: Impressed Swiss Cross
Measures: 2.5” x 2.5” x 1”
