Description: Nice example of a WWII or early post-WWII trench art lighter. This piece was crafted from a .50 BMG cartridge case manufactured at the Frankford Arsenal in 1941. The brass case shows an attractive aged patina with scattered spots and a few small dents along the shoulder—typical of its age and use.

The lighter insert is functional but will require a new flint, fluid, and wick. The round-nose cap removes easily for access.

A great example of wartime or immediate postwar trench art, featuring a desirable 1941 Frankford Arsenal-dated case.
