Winchester .32 S&W C.F. Picture Box – Full & Correct
Z9394 Winchester .32 S&W C.F. Picture Box – Full & Correct
Description: Nice example of a Winchester .32 Smith & Wesson Centerfire ammunition box. This box dates from the very late 1800s to early 1900s and is full and correct, containing fifty .32 centerfire black powder cartridges.
The top retains its green early picture label with the "Central Fire” callout. The orange side seal is mostly intact—open along the front and both sides, while the back remains sealed so the top hinges. The rear of the side label features the Smith & Wesson test approval dated August 1, 1898. The bottom of the box retains its original label, and there is still an interior label under the lid referencing the use of No. 1½ primers for reloading.
Overall, this box remains in excellent condition, showing only light soiling and typical shelf wear. A very attractive early Winchester box that would display beautifully alongside any .32 Smith & Wesson revolver.
