Z9407 .49 Gyrojet Rocket "Dummy" Cartridge (Carbon Steel)

Description: Offered here is an early example of the .49 caliber Gyrojet "dummy” cartridge manufactured by MBAssociates (MBA). This inert example features a carbon steel casing with nozzle, a nickel-plated primer showing four counterclockwise ports, and a truncated nose. The round contains a hard rubber core, identifying it as a factory dummy produced for display, testing, or demonstration purposes.

The steel casing shows light wear, typical of these early specimens. Overall, a scarce and desirable early Gyrojet example representing an innovative era in U.S. experimental ammunition design — ideal for collectors of MBAssociates or rocket ammunition.
