Z9411 .50-70-450 Govt. Martin-Primed Cartridge
Description: Decent example of a Martin-primed .50-70-450 Government cartridge. This example features the characteristic re-entrant fold in the case head and was manufactured at the Frankford Arsenal between November and December 1871. It’s loaded with a .50 caliber flat-tipped, 450-grain bullet over 70 grains of black powder.

This specific cartridge type was cataloged in the Philadelphia Centennial Exhibition of 1876 as No. 330, representing one of the early standardized U.S. military metallic cartridges developed after the Civil War.

This cartridge remains in decent condition, showing an oxidized bullet, a few spots on the copper case, and a medium-sized dent on one side (mentioned for accuracy). Overall, a solid and historically significant representative of an early Frankford Arsenal .50-70-450 Martin-primed cartridge, priced accordingly.
