Z9552 Early 1920’s A.H. Fox Gun Catalog – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Description: Original, early 1920’s gun catalog from the A.H. Fox Gun Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This catalog measures approximately 6.20” x 3.60” and contains 40 pages of information on FOX GUNS, advertised as "The Finest Gun in the World.” It features a variety of firearms, including:
•The Fox-Sterlingworth
•The "A” Grade Fox
•The "C E” Grade Fox
•The "X E” Grade Fox
•The "D E” Grade Fox
•The Super Fox "HE” Grade
•The Fox Single Barrel Trap Gun
The catalog features 40 pages bound with two staples at the spine. The front cover displays fantastic artwork of a fox attempting to steal the game while the hunter is distracted. The back cover presents the A.H. Fox company guarantee.
A nice original example showing light to moderate soiling. There are a few small tears on the outer cover, mostly along the spine, with one at the top left corner. Overall, a great original 1920s sporting catalog that would pair nicely with any of the aforementioned Fox shotgun grades.
