M144 .64 Hall Carbine Cartridge with Red & White String
Description: Nice example of a paper cartridge commonly identified as a Hall cartridge. This style of cartridge was likely intended for use in the U.S. Model 1836 Hall Carbine Type I or Type II, both of which featured bore diameters of approximately .646 caliber. With a reduced powder charge, cartridges of this type may also have been suitable for use in converted .69 caliber pistols. The cartridge is constructed of buff-colored paper and neatly tied with red and white string.

This example remains in very good condition with no cracks or tears noted. There are a few scattered areas of light to moderate soiling to the outer paper wrapper. Overall, a very nice example of a Hall-type paper cartridge offered at an affordable price.
