Z6838 .52 Sharps & Hankins "New Model” Rimfire Cartridge

Description: Excellent .52 Sharps & Hankins rimfire cartridge for use with the 2nd or New Model carbine. The "New Model” carbine had a barrel that was 5” shorter but the key difference is the floating firing pin located in the back of the breech. This example has a round nose bullet with two visible belts or bands with a copper case. This example is in excellent shape and still has plenty of lubricant stuck to the casing. The bullet is slightly oxidized, and the head of the case is slightly depressed with a raised center.
