Z3483 Modified M1863 Combination Tool
Description: Here is a decent variant that isn't encountered that often. It's a M1863 combination tool that has been modified with a spanner wrench on one blade. This was used for removing the rear site. The spanner wrench measures .343" on the outside. I've seen a couple of these over the years but they have all been modified M1855 tools, and not the modified M1863. The variant in the book is made from an M1855 tool as well.
Measures: OAL 3.526"
Reference: Gun Tools Vol. 1 Pg. 157 variant
