Hello and Welcome to American Civil War Relics & Military Antiques

My name is Ian Workman and I have been collecting and digging relics and artifacts for as long as I can remember. Our online presence was established in 2006 under the name of Packhorse Ford Relics. We switched to the name American Civil War Relics & Military Antiques shortly after restructuring the business.

We are the only full time relic dealer servicing the Antietam and Harper's Ferry region. The majority of our dug relics come from Jefferson County West Virginia, Clarke County Virginia, and Washington & Frederick Counties of Maryland. We live and operate out of a historically rich area. There were a lot of troop movements throughout the area during the Antietam, Gettysburg, and Valley Campaigns. While we mostly concentrate on items from the American Civil War, we also carry items from the Indian Wars, Spanish American War, World War One, and World War Two. As you can probably tell, our main emphasis is on early American uniform buttons and Pre-1898 cartridges and ammunition packets.
