Z3410 British 71st Regiment of Foot Cuff Button
Description: Very nice excavated one-piece pewter button. This one was more than likely recovered from the water. It retains nearly all of it's plating. The iron shank has rusted away. Tice states that, "From 1830-1839, the business was known simply as Charles Hebbert. Charles Hebbert later went on to produce artillery, infantry, and navy buttons for the Confederacy during the American Civil War.
