Description: Decent example of the .28 cupfire revolver cartridge. This style of cartridge was patented by W.C. Ellis and J.N. White on July 12, 1859 as Patent No. 24,726. This is a post-Civil War example with a raised "P" headstamp and was produced by the Phoenix Metallic Cartridge Company.
