Description: Nice .22 long rimfire cartridge with a patented target bullet by Albert B. Gulley of Bridgeport, Connecticut. A.B. Gulley filed for a Patent application on June 9, 1914, and was later awarded Patent No. 1,122,738 on December 29, 1914 under an Improvement for "Target-Bullets." This projectile was supposed to provide the following advantages for close range target shooting:
1. Producing better targets.
2. It will not tear the target.
3. It will self-center in the bore of a gun.
4. It will clean the grooves of the bore.
