Description: Scarce long pattern cartridge for six .44 skin cartridges and one packet of percussion caps. Decent surviving example with the majority of the paper remaining on the wooden block. This packet contains five of the original .44 skin cartridges. One cartridge is missing and so are the caps. This one has the desirable Hotchkiss patent date on the front. The label reads:
