Z4473 Packet of 5 .36 Envelope Cartridges for Colt or Whitney Police Pistols by H.W. Mason
Description: Decent packet of five .36 cartridges for Colt or Whitney Police Pistols. This packet was produced by H.W. Mason of South Coventry, Connecticut. He was in business from 1865-1888 and filled the void for Post-Civil War cartridges. This packet style is unlisted in the packet book and would fill the void for collectors. This one come with an x-ray of the packet. The contents are still inside but mixed which means the cartridges are broken. This packet is heavily lacquered and the top side seams show repair along with the right front corner. The label reads:
