Z4487 1 Gallon Stoneware Crock Attributed to Henry Remmey Jr. of Philadelphia Ca. 1835

Description: Very nice 1 gallon crock attributed to Henry Remmey of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This cylindrical crock features a tooled shoulder with a rounded rim. The cobalt pattern has fan shaped flower blossoms and leaves. This artwork is free hand, and you can clearly see where a set of leaves was extended on the last area. There are a couple of flaws from the kiln process which is quite common. There is one very small and shallow chip on the bottom which I have photographed. This is in exceptional condition with no hairlines, cracks, etc. I have included photos with studio lighting and natural lighting. A quality piece!

Measures Approximately 10" in height and 6.5" at the base.
