Z4973 .44 Henry Rimfire Cartridge by New Haven Arms
Description: Hard to find .44 Henry cartridge manufactured by the New Haven Arms Co. of New Haven, Connecticut. This is the very first style of cartridge mass produced for the Henry during the Civil War. While this cartridge is somewhat easy to find in excavated condition, they are hard to find in non-excavated condition. Most of these are bought up to complete a full box. Nice example with a dark patina and one very small sharp dent in the side of the casing. This round is considered a pointed short case. A hard one to find on the loose for sure!
