Z4949 Excavated Cavalry Troop E Collar Disk (Camp Cody)

Description: Nice excavated collar disk. This one has the crossed sabers on the front for Cavalry with the Troop E designation below. The background of the face has the early cross-hatch pattern. The threaded post and thumb nut are still affixed to the back. This example was recovered from Camp Cody located in New Mexico. It was a Pre-WWI training camp used between 1916-1919.
