Z5105 C.E.F. 112th Nova Scotia Reserve Battalion Cap Badge/Insignia
Description: Very nice Canadian Expeditionary Forces cap badge for the 112th Nova Scotia Overseas Battalion. This badge features a crown at the top with the number "112" directly below it. The shield at the center has two thistles above a Cod fish and one thistle below. The English garter features the words, "NOVA SCOTIA / OVERSEAS BATTALION / CANADA." There is a ribbon across the bottom with the Latin phrase "Honor Et Honestas" which means honor and honesty. The cap badge is flanked on both sides by the maple leaf. This example is in excellent condition and is unmarked.
