Z5153 Pennsylvania Redware Plate or Bowl with Slip Glaze Decoration
Description: Nice piece of Pennsylvania earthenware with yellow slip glaze decoration. The top edge has a coggled design the entire way around. The back of the plate still retains its fired appearance with a small hairline crack. The interior glaze is well worn from use with some of the outer lead glaze remaining. In the center of the bowl is a yellow slip decoration. Due to wear, some of the slip decoration has flaked off. The interior of the piece is a very dark brown. Very nice piece without large chips, etc.
