Z5142 British "East Lancashire Regiment" Button (1881-1958)
Description: Nice large size button used by the East Lancashire Regiment. Based on the backmark this one would date towards the end of the regiment's existence. The face features a Sphinx on a tablet with the word "EGYPT" above the Rose of Lancaster. Nice example with the stand-up shank intact.
Backmark: "GAUNT / (dot) LONDON (dot)" dm
Measures: 26.21 mm
