Z5271 Packet of .36 Remington Navy Cartridges by Johnston & Dow

Description: Scarce Civil War pasteboard packet of .36 cartridges manufactured under Patent No. 33,393 by Johnston & Dow. The packet itself is in very good shape. The ammo is loose which means there is at least one broken cartridge inside. There is a slight powder leak on the left back corner. This packet remains unopened, and both pull strings are intact. This .36 size is meant for the .36 Remington Navy revolver. These didn't stand the test of time like the packets with wooden block interiors. They are pasteboard packets without the wood block on the inside. The label reads as follows:
