Description: Very nice Civil War era rimfire cartridge for use with the .44 Remington Carbine. This one is headstamped C.D.L. for Charles D. Leet of Springfield, Massachusetts. These cartridges were named the No. 46 even though they are for a .44 Carbine.
Headstamp: Impressed "C.D.L.” with two tic marks
Measures: D .458” OAL 1.841” CL 1.116”
