Z5436 .44 Allen & Wheelock Lipfire Cartridge

Description: Decent large caliber manufactured under Patent No. 30,109 dated September 25, 1860. This is the largest size out of the four available calibers. It was intended to be used in the .44 Allen & Wheelock revolver. These are .44 caliber but were packaged as the No. 58 cartridges. The raised rings on the projectile are less visible than most I have sold. This example has a small flat spot on the side of the projectile.
