Z5388 British Officer’s Button Marked "RLV”
Description: Unknown early British militia coat button. This is an officer’s pattern and is silver plated on the face. It features a crown at the top with the "Order of the Garter: surrounding a rose. The incised letters "R.L.V.” are on the bottom. This example still has the shank. The backmark appears to possibly be Firmin / Strand.
Backmark: Illegible STRAND???
Measures: 18.84 mm
Recovered: Unknown
