Z5519 Blown Schenkl Percussion Fuse Body
Description: Decent body of a brass Schenkl percussion time fue. The top section is missing as well as the internal anvil. There is a hole in the side which would have held the internal sliding anvil cap in the safe position. The top of the fuse would have been marked, "J.P. SCHENKL / PAT.OCT.16.1861.”
Measures: 2.38” x 1.06”
Recovered: Shepherdstown, West Virginia
