Description: Very nice, 1904 dated marksman medal for the Massachusetts Volunteer Militia or M.V.M.. This bronze example has a pleasing patina and is in very nice shape. The green and white silk ribbon has very little fraying. The main disc has "Second Class” at the top and "Marksman” on the bottom with "M.V.M” in the center. The back of the suspension bark is marked "HAYES BROS” and the front is marked "1904.”
