Z5787 British 68th Regiment of Foot Coat Button
Description: Nice, excavated button used by the 68th Regiment of Foot (Durham Light Infantry). This is the pewter enlisted man’s pattern. There is very little edge loss on this example and the iron shank is still present and slightly bent. The face features the British Crown on top with an infantry hunting horn below with a 68 above. A nice example dating to just before the mid 1800’s.
