Z5957 Stoneware Crock Attributed to Greensboro Pa. Ca. 1880’s
Description: Very nice half gallon size stoneware crock attributed to Greensboro, Pennsylvania. This example has a clear stenciled cobalt design on the face with a tooled rim and shoulder. There are a few in the firing marks with honest wear to the inner rim and top outside edge. There are no large chips, cracks, or hairlines but there are a few very small flea bites. The inside is partially coated in a white film. The surface is even with some staining here and there. A few days in a degreaser bath would make this one sparkle.
