Z5868 British Royal Navy Button (1825+)

Description: Decent one-piece Royal Navy coat button. The face features a crown over a fouled anchor. Several ranks used this style of button. The backmark is illegible and the shank is bent. This example appears to be a water recovery and also appears to have been in a fire or near extreme heat at some point in time. This button would date to 1825+
