Description: Very nice, two-piece button. This style of button is referred to as a "Jacksonian” button and dates to the 1820’s-1840’s. The shank is intact and bent on this example. The face features a raised eagle with a shield. The talons are clutching arrows and an olive branch.
Backmark: "(dot) RICH (dot) / COLOUR” rm
Measures: 11.42 mm
Recovered: Non-Excavated
