Z6021 Revolutionary War 84th Regiment of Foot Button
Description: Decent excavated example worn by the 84th Regiment of Foot also known as The Royal Highland Emigrants. This is the small size worn by enlisted men. The face features a crown in the middle with a wreath of thistle and flowers on the top and bottom. There is wear to the face with very little edge loss. The iron shank is missing. There is an orange "92” on the back. Don Troiani told me this is one of his earliest catalogued pieces. The orange marked pieces were recovered by Calver & Bolton in New York. They were then sold to Albert and then to Don.
Measures: 16.57 mm
Recovered: New York City by Calver & Bolton
