Z6055 Confederate 3” Broun Shell, Short Pattern
Description: Very nice 3” Confederate "Broun” shell recovered from Petersburg, Virginia. This is the "Short Pattern” measuring 7.5” in length. The shell has been cleaned and is in very good shape with uniform pitting throughout. The wooden fuse adapter is missing and most of the copper sabot has torn off with a single section remaining. Two small areas of the base have sheared off when the shell was fired.
